Learning Agreement Sample


Activities:
The international coordinator invites Lisbeth and her teacher to a meeting in order to fill in the necessary documentation. Lisbeth is asked to prepare for the meeting and fill in the Europass CV in English before the meeting, and make a short description of what she expects to work with during the work placement. During the meeting the 3 of them go over the presentation Lisbeth has made and they make the necessary corrections and together they develop the contents of the learning agreement, to make sure that it matches Lisbeth’s individual learning plan and supports her preparations for her final test, which is coming up soon.

Activities:
During the exchange Lisbeth takes time to make some written reflections both on the things she sees and experiences in her work at Hotel XX, but also on the different cultural differences that she experiences at the work place and in her spare time.
When the exchange is coming to an end the head chef at the restaurant asks Lisbeth to come into the office, so that they can fill in the Europass Mobility document and the evaluation paper that Lisbeth has brought as part of the learning agreement. The fill it in together and discuss the experiences Lisbeth has had during the stay. The chef has been really pleased with having Lisbeth in his kitchen, so he writes a short recommendation to her.

Final report

Activities:
Upon returning to Denmark Lisbeth meets with the international coordinator again in order to make a debriefing on her mobility experience. Lisbeth is asked to fill in the Online Mobility Tool and she makes a short presentation of her stay to the college paper and homepage. She is also asked if she would be interested in presenting her experiences to other apprentices who may be interested in going abroad in the future.

Memorandum of Understanding between EUC Syd and Tampere Vocational College Tredu

Activities:
EUC Syd and Tampere Vocational College Tredu has signed a MoU and the two colleges has cooperated for years, so it is easy for the international coordinator to contact her contact person at Tampere Vocational College Tredu in order to coordinate the work placement with he/she. The timing and the content of the learning experienced is agreed upon and the Finnish partner promises to arrange for a place to stay for Lisbeth during her stay in Finland. Now Lisbeth can start to make the necessary travel arrangements, she does that in cooperation with the international coordinator who also spends time on preparing Lisbeth on the cultural aspects that she may meet in Finland.

Activities:
The knowledge, skills and competences that has to be evaluated and how this is to be done is part of the Learning agreement. This is developed in cooperation with the contact teacher who is responsible for the apprentice, the individual apprentice and the international coordinator at EUC Syd is always ready to assist in the description of this. This is done prior to the work placement abroad and it is done in relation to the individual learning plan of the apprentice.

Activities:
When Lisbeth arrives in Denmark again the international coordinator contacts her and invites her to an evaluation meeting, where they can fill in the Online Mobility Tool and Lisbeth gets some ideas as how to make her final report for the college homepage.
Together with the contact teacher Lisbeth’s goes over the evaluation paper that she has brought home and the teacher validates this in Elevplan (Apprentice’s individual learning plan, where fulfillment of competence goals of the training program is validated).
